As well as explicitly changing events using the edit operations and event properties table, there is a variety of adjustments you can apply with the Adjust Events property window, in two different situations.
In the workspace, adjustments are accessed with commands on the Track menu, and they affect the selected range in the work sheet or staff sheet. In this case, the Selection page will confirm or modify the target range, and the caption of the property window will vary according to the type of adjustment.
In segment sheets, adjustments are accessed with Segment-Events-Adjust (from Track View only) or the right-click menu, and apply to the selected events. In this case, the Operation page will appear to specify what type of adjustment you wish to apply.
There are several types of adjustment, and most are available in both situations.
Transpose adjusts the pitch and key of musical events (and harmony segments). Velocitize adjusts the velocities of events, with a variety of mechanisms.
All of the others - Quantize, Humanize, Normalize, Swingize, Shift and Stretch - adjust event timing, including their locations and durations.
