The Track Menu contains commands for working with individual tracks and selected ranges of the current song. It also has commands for solo playback of a single track.
The Track menu is available only in Mixer View, Track View and Staff View.
Some of the commands are also available as buttons on the mixer panel, segment bar or staff bar.
Commands
Setup
Opens the Track Setup window, which allows you to adjust the scope or the controls of the focus track. The command icon and window pages vary, depending on the track.
Key: Ctrl+T
Mute
Mutes or enables the sound of the focus track. When a track is muted, the background color is shown in gray.
Key: Ctrl+M
Change Style
Opens the Change Style window, which allows you to change the style being used for autostyle segments in the focus track.
Tranpose
Opens the Transpose Track window, where you can transpose the song (or just a selected range) to a different key.
Velocitize
Opens the Velocitize Track window, where you can adjust the velocities of events in the song (or just a selected range).
Quantize
Opens the Quantize Track window, where you can add regularity to the timing of events in the song (or just a selected range).
Humanize
Opens the Humanize Track window, where you can add randomness to the timing of events in the song (or just a selected range).
Swingize
Opens the Swingize Track window, where you can transform events between straight and swing timing for the song (or just a selected range).
Shift
Opens the Shift Track window, where you can move events forwards or backwards within the song structure.
Stretch
Opens the Stretch Track window, where you can stretch or shrink the lengths and positions of events within the song structure.
Transport > Play Solo
Starts solo playback of the focus track beginning at the current location. Playback will continue until stopped, or until the end of the song is reached. If solo playback is already active, stops playback.
Key: F6
Transport > Play Bar Solo
Starts solo playback of the focus track beginning at the current location for a single bar only. This is useful for auditioning a small portion of the track when editing.
