The Operation page appears in the Adjust Events property window, when invoked from a segment sheet with Segment-Events-Adjust (only in Track View) or the right-click menu.
It allows you to specify the type of adjustment you want to perform on the selected events.
Depending on the adjustment you specify, the other page in the property window changes to accommodate the detailed settings of the adjustment. These are indicated below.
Controls
Velocitize Events
Specifies that events will have their velocities adjusted. The other page in the window will become the Velocitize page.
Quantize Events
Specifies that events will have their locations and/or durations moved closer to regular fractional divisions of the beat. The other page in the window will become the Quantize page.
Humanize Events
Specifies a small randomness is to be added to locations and/or durations of events to give a more realistic performance. The other page in the window will become the Humanize page.
Normalize Events
Adjusts the durations of the events to minimize overlap and thereby produce cleaner staff notation. The other page in the window will become the Normalize page.
Swingize Events
Specifies that events placed on regular half/half divisions of the beat will be transformed to two-thirds/one-third divisions, converting straight timing to swing timing (or back). The other page in the window will become the Swingize page.
Shift Events
Specifies that events will be advanced or delayed by a time span. The other page in the window will become the Shift page.
Stretch Events
Specifies that event locations and/or durations will be scaled by a sizing ratio. The other page in the window will become the Stretch page.
