Property Windows (or property sheets) are popup windows which contain several pages, only one of which is showing at a time. Songtrix uses property windows wherever a large collection of settings need to be managed at once.
There are several examples including the Workspace Options, Layout Options, Song Setup, Track Setup, Adjust Events and Printing Options windows, among others.
Each page has a tab at the top which activates the page when clicked on. You can also switch between the pages with Ctrl+Tab and Ctrl+Shift+Tab.
Within each page, you can move the highlight between controls by pressing the Tab and Shift+Tab keystrokes, as with standard popup windows.
Underneath the pages, all property windows contains four standard buttons.
These are used for closing the window and applying its settings.
Buttons
OK
Updates the workspace with the current settings and closes the property window. The label becomes Close after the Apply button has been used.
Cancel
Closes the property window without making any changes. This is not available after the Apply button has been used.
Apply
Updates the workspace with the current settings to show the effect of the changes, but leaves the property window open for further changes. Settings from all pages of the window are applied together.
Help
Opens Songtrix Help at the topic for the active page in the property window.
