The Staff Bar appears in Staff View.
It provides shortcuts for adjusting the layout of the staff sheet and the compiling of staff symbols.
Many of these controls are also available from the View menu, and from the Staff page in the song setup.
Controls
Stave Size
Controls the overall sizing of the staves in the staff sheet. Other sizing options are available on the Staff page. The size can be made larger or smaller, or a sizing percentage can be directly selected.
Kerning
Stave Bars
Controls the horizontal spacing between the staff symbols in the staff sheet. If Fixed Bars sizing is active, this control is called Stave Bars and is specifies the number of bars per stave line. Otherwise it is called Kerning and controls the spacing as a percentage of the standard spacing.
Resolution
Controls the time divisions (in fractions of a quarter note) on which segment events are generated into staff symbols for the staff sheet. Smaller fractions show more timing detail, but appear more visually complex.
Play Bar
Starts playback of all tracks at the current location for a single bar only. This is useful for auditioning a small portion of the song when editing.

Fixed Bars
Selects whether the staff sheet uses flexible bar sizing, to accommodate the number of staff symbols in each bar, or whether all bars are fixed at the same size.
Setup Track
Opens the Track Setup window, which allows you to adjust the scope or controls of the focus track. The command icon and window pages vary, depending on the track.
Key: Ctrl+T
Mute Track
Mutes or enables the sound of the focus track. When a track is muted, the background color is shown in gray.
Menu: Track-Mute
Key: Ctrl+M
Track Clef
Selects whether the staff symbols for the current track should be arranged on a Bass Clef, a Treble Clef or a Grand Stave (Bass + Treble) or whether the decision should be made automatically by Songtrix (based on the pitch range of the track).
