Songtrix is equipped with a range of popup tools to help you explore and develop harmony in your song.
All tools can be accessed from anywhere in the workspace, using the Tools menu, and several also with buttons on the tool bar.
Many tools, when invoked, use your selected range as the starting point for their process.
Chords or scales in the initial range are automatically selected in the Chords To Scales, Relations and Next Chord tools, while melody notes are automatically selected in the Notes To Chords and Notes To Scales tools.
All tools can copy a chord or scale to the clipboard, where they are available to be pasted in when you return to the song. The Guitar Chord tool has an Update button which achieves this in a single step.
You can also use the Record Chord or Record Scale windows to accept input from a piano keyboard or other Midi instrument.
