The View Menu contains commands for switching between the views in Songtrix and changing options which affect the presentation of the workspace and the current song.
The View menu is available in all views, but the commands vary, depending on which view is currently active.
Some of the commands are also available as buttons or controls on the transport bar, segment bar or staff bar.
Commands
Mixer
Switches the workspace to Mixer View.
Track
Switches the workspace to Track View.
Staff
Switches the workspace to Staff View.
Network
Switches the workspace to Network View. If song playback is active, it will stop.
Tutorials
Switches the workspace to Tutorials View. If song playback is active, it will stop.
Time Location
Changes the display mode of the Location control in the transport bar. The current location in the song can be expressed in either bars.beats.ticks or minutes.seconds.cents format.

V-Zoom > 25% to 400%
Adjusts the vertical magnification of segment sheets. It is available only in Track View, when an event track has the focus. These commands are not active for rhythm segments or lyric segments, where the height is automatically controlled.
V-Zoom > To Height
Selects the vertical magnification of segment sheets which best fits the entire scope of the segment into the available height.
H-Zoom > 25% to 400%
Adjusts the horizontal magnification of segment sheets. It is available only in Track View, when an event track has the focus.
H-Zoom > To Width
Selects the horizontal magnification of segment sheets which best fits the entire time span of the segment into the available width.
Grid Lines > Qtn/2 to Qtn/24
Controls how many grid lines are shown in segment sheets for each quarter note of duration. It is available only in Track View, when an event track has the focus.
Grid Lines > Snap To Grid
Specifies whether event lengths and positions are snapped to the nearest grid line when being created or edited in segment sheets. Having this feature on makes it easy to achieve exact event timing, but it can lose expression in passages of recorded events.
Wrap Staves
Specifies whether the staff sheet uses multiple staves, wrapped into lines with a vertical scroll bar, or a single long stave with a horizontal scroll bar. It is available only in Staff View.
Fixed Bars
Selects whether the staff sheet uses flexible bar sizing, to accommodate the number of staff symbols in each bar, or whether all bars are fixed at the same size. It is available only in Staff View.
In either case, the overall staff sizing and symbol spacing can be adjusted with the commands listed below.
Stave Size > 25% to 400%
Adjusts the overall sizing of the staves in the staff sheet. It is available only in Staff View. Other sizing options are available on the Staff page.
Stave Size > Reset
Restores the overall sizing of the staves in the staff sheet to the default value (100%).
Kerning > 25% to 400%
Adjusts the horizontal spacing between staff symbols in the staff sheet. It is available only in Staff View, when Fixed Bars sizing is not active.
Kerning > Reset
Restores the horizontal spacing between staff symbols in the staff sheet to the default value (100%) for flexible bar sizing.
Stave Bars > 1/Line to 8/Line
Adjsuts the horizontal spacing between staff symbols in the staff sheet. It is available only in Staff View, when Fixed Bars sizing is active.
Stave Bars > Reset
Restores the horizontal spacing between staff symbols in the staff sheet to the default value (3/Line) for fixed bar sizing.
Resolution > Qtn/2 to Qtn/24
Specifies the time divisions (in fractions of a quarter note) on which segment events are generated into staff symbols for the staff sheet. It is available only in Staff View.
Smaller fractions show more timing detail, but appear more visually complex.
Resolution > Auto
Restores the time divisions used for generating staff symbols to the default value (Qtn/2).
Tool Bar
Shows or hides the tool bar in all views.
Status Bar
Shows or hides the status bar in all views.
