The Song Banner appears at the top (or left) of each work sheet or staff sheet in the workspace, and on each Staff Sheet, Lyric Sheet or Chord Sheet report.

It displays the song title and the key credits as entered in the Credits page.  These are described below.

Credits

Title

This is either your explicit title for the song, or the name of the song file, depending on the Use Filename setting.

Music By

The name(s) of the composer of the music in the song, as entered for Music By.

Lyrics By

The name(s) of the author of the lyrics in the song, as entered for Lyrics By.

If the same name is entered for Lyrics By and Music By, it appears in the song banner as Music & Lyrics by (as shown).

Copyright

The copyright year of the song.  By convention, this should be the year in which the work was first completed. 

Protection

If the song has been packaged with protection, a padlock icon appears in the banner.  You can click on it to open the Song Protection window to reveal the details of the protection.

Publisher

If the song has been packaged with a publisher link, a publisher icon appears in the banner.  You can click on it to be taken to the ChordWizard Network and view the profile of the publisher.

If login is not possible for any reason, the publisher is displayed in a newly launched browser window instead.
