The Staff Sheet report closely resembles the staff sheet region displayed in Staff View within the workspace.
It prints your song in the staff notation format that is the universal method of notating and communicating written music.
As with the Staff View in the workspace, the staff symbols and layout are compiled for you automatically, so very little effort is needed to produce this report.
Track Selection
With Staff Sheet reports, you have the extra options (compared to the workspace) of excluding tracks from the staves, or arranging them in a different order.
So you can print a full score in a single report, or you can print each part in a separate report.
One of the most useful configurations is to print a lead sheet by including just the melody, lyrics and chords.
Printing Options
Staff Sheet reports can simply reflect the notation shown in Staff View, or you can apply a different set of options to produce an alternative formation.
Color printing is available if desired. Different colors can be used either for each track, or for different types of symbols across all tracks.
