The Delete Bars window is opened from the workspace with the following command:

	Ctrl+Del	Song-Delete Bars

It allows you to delete a span of bars from the song at any location.  A song must have a minimum of one bar, plus the pickup section (if any).

Segments at the delete location are automatically contracted or removed, depending on the track type and the existing segment structure.

Controls

Bar

Specifies the span of bars to be deleted.  This can vary from a single bar to the maximum number of bars which can be deleted from the song.

The default span is taken from the selected range in the work sheet or staff sheet.

Delete All Except Span

Specifies how bars are to be deleted from the song.

If unticked, only selected span is deleted.  If ticked, only the selected span remains, and all other bars before and after it are deleted.

Bars To Delete

Displays the number of bars in the selected bar span, as a handy check.

OK

Closes the window and deletes the selected span of bars from the song.

Cancel

Returns to the workspace without making any change.
