The Import Midi Log window appears when you press the Log button at the Destination Tracks step of the Import Midi process.
It displays a detailed text listing of the events which were ignored while importing the source tracks into the work sheet in this step. Many Midi controllers are not stored in songs, so it is normal for these to be ignored.
The log text is divided into three sections, with examples shown below.
The Discarded Midi Events section lists the Midi events which were ignored during preprocessing. Usually these are unknown Midi controllers or duplicate (ie. redundant) Note_On or Note_Off events.

Note_Off B4 0
Note_Off G5 0
The Time Signature Events section lists the time signature events which were ignored while the bar structure of the song was being analyzed. This may happen if they are unknown time signatures or duplicates of the time signature already in force at that location in the song.

The Ignored Music Events section lists the Midi controllers which were ignored when the track setup was being compiled for each track. This happens if multiple tracks are being merged, or with controllers which are not stored within the song.

Some setup controllers, such as All Notes Off (AllNoteOff) and All Controllers Off (AllCtlrOff) are always output by Songtrix at the start of playback or Midi file export, and so are not stored in the song.
