The Extract Chords Log window appears when you press the Log button in the Destination Tracks step of the Import Midi process (or the Exchange Tracks process).
It displays a detailed text listing of the notes which could not be successfully converted to rhythm events.
The log text is divided into two sections, with examples shown below.
The Comments section displays problems encountered during preprocessing of the harmony of the source tracks. Wherever the chord sequence is forced into a configuration where melody events may not find a matching tone to be assigned to, a comment is made in anticipation that notes will be dropped.
For example, the first comment is for a very short chord of 1 tick (from 3.1.000 to 3.1.001) which is being deleted, since this is shorter than the minimum chord segment size.

COMMENTS
================================================================================
* Following item deleted, too short. Dropped notes expected.
3.1.000 3.1.001 [E,Ab,B] E7 ....................... Emaj,C#m7,E7,Emaj7
* Following item deleted, could not be quantized. Dropped notes expected.
5.1.007 5.4.105 C5,F5,A5,D6 ....................... Dm7
The Dropped Events section lists the notes that were actually dropped during the allocation stage of the extraction operation. These will usually correspond to comments in the first section.
For example, there is a dropped note at 3.1.001 because the chord at that point was deleted for being too short.
