The Scales Used page appears in the Track Setup property window for the Scales track.

It lists the scale types that are used in the track.  Every time a new scale type is used, a copy of it is stored with the song to make sure it is available on any computer where the song is opened.

The scale types defined in the current song override those defined in the Workspace Options, and so their properties can be customized specifically for the song.

The Scales Used page is similar to the Scale Types page, but less operations are available and the list is color-coded for the Scales track.

Controls

Scale Type List

Lists all scale types used in the track, together with their degrees.

Edit

Opens the Edit Scale Type window where some properties of the selected scale can be adjusted.

In contrast to editing workspace scale types, only the name and degree names can be changed.  The actual degrees of the scale type are fixed.

Play Scale Type

Auditions the sound of the selected scale type.

Reset

Resets all scale type definitions back to their properties as defined in the Scale Types page.
