Note Roll Tool needs work

Two suggestions on the Note Roll Tool
1) This is the most important of my two suggestions:
Note Roll Tool needs to match the # of beats per 1/4 note
In Jazz song mode, for example, there are 6 beats per quarter note, but the roll tool puts in 4 evenly spaced ones.
---------
2) The notes input by the tool need to be editable. For example, I might like to move some of those rolled notes later.
Thus rather than just a block that sticks together, it would actually be 4 (or 6) independant notes that can later be edited individually.
Have you found the properties table yet? All properties of the selected event(s) can be edited when this is showing.
In Segment View, you can do this with View-Properties, or there is also a button on the Segment Bar (hand pointing to a table).
For the Note Roll, you can specify the Timing in ticks, so for a song which has 144 Tpq (ticks per quarter note, the default), you could enter 24 to get six notes per quarter note in the roll.
All other properties that can be changed with the table, including position, length, note, event type, dynamic and velocity. It also works with a multiple selection.
We might look at a note roll "break in singles" function later, but in meantime if you want to create several small notes easily, first create one and then use shift-click-and-drag to clone it. Clone mode is indicated by a plus sign (+) on the mouse pointer.
