I'm don't think I understand the question.  Can you add more detail?  

Are you asking about the octave range of a melody track?  Or the interval span of a chord inversion?

Open Songtrix
In the welcome window select "Create a new song"
After the three step selection (Keep the default) you are ready.
Select i.e. the melody track and go to the window "Edit melody segment".
You will be offered with a two octaves extension on the piano keyboard: how can I expand and have let's say three octaves available?

You can expand the Note Range within Track Setup in melodic parts.  You can get to this from Song-Setup when creating a new song.

You can also use the button from the mixer panel, or Track-Setup when the song is already created.

The same type of thing is available for the Drums track, for selecting the drums available in the Drum Kit.

Also with the Chords Track Setup, you can select parameters for making inversions and the number of tone lines which will appear in the Rhythm track.
