Importing standard Jazz tunes

Hi there,
I'm new here and have a newbie question:
Is there a way to import a bunch of standard Jazz tunes at once, like the RealBook, BiaB files, Impro-vizor files or equivalent?
If not, is there a way to quickly create/edit a complete Jazz grid with a simple text editor?

Songtrix can import Midi files (and I believe these other programs can export them).
Can you explain your idea of the jazz grid in more detail?

I don't know the name of a "grid" in English (I'm French).
It's a table with the list of chords of a tune.
My question is not about importing one MIDI file, but importing the whole RealBook at once.
I know there are legal issues with melodies and choruses, but Jazz "grids" are usually free of rights.

So are you looking for a quicker way to enter chords by typing instead of selecting?
This might work OK for whole bars, but what about changes on half-bars, etc?
How about if we made the chord track editable from the worksheet, with a text cursor that you can tab between the chord segments?
Would that be closer to what you are looking for?

Anything for fast typing without mouse clicks, and mouse movements would be nice.
For half bars, the '|' sign would do it, I guess.
