STRETCH command

Have you ever noticed how sometimes you just know something and do It Instinctively.
Other times you think you know something but realise how little you know It when you try to do It.
I had this problem with the STRETCH command and though I now see how simple It Is(Thanks to Chord Wizard Developer(s)); I originally had quite a problem getting my head around It.
I eventually wrote It down step by step, To make sure I understood It and for future reference, So I thought I would post It In case It may prove usefull to others.
Stretching or shrinking a passage from for example 2/8 to 3/4 Involves first finding the RATIO (The difference between the two)
A calculator may come In handy here. (2/8) divided by (3/4) equals 0.333 which Is 1/3 A RATIO of 1 to 3.
Or you can calculate It another way (3/4) divided by (2/8) equals 3.00 which Is a RATIO of 3 to 1.
As you can see the RATIO Is the same 1 to 3; 3 to 1; just looked at from a different perspective.
You may wish to try this with a simple example.
First start a new song In 2/8, Enter a rising then falling scale using 1/8 notes, Next select multiple measures then select the STRETCH command In the TRACK menu.
Now experiment with the STRETCH command by placing the single value 1 or 3 In the RATIO boxes "FROM" & "TO" then remember to tick both "LOCATION" & "DURATION" boxes before clicking OK and you should get the Idea from there.
It's been quite usefull to me trying to describe this as It's helped solidify It In my mind.
I hope It may be of some use to others despite the poor way It's written.
