Like playing the flute just for fun and mostly by myself although it would be fun to stretch a bit and play with others but not many opportunities for a novice 62 year old!
That was what I was thinking in Dec 2011.  Been spending 2-3 hours a day in the shed making noticeable progress on the flute.  Playing the Blues in 6 keys now and getting the feel and knowledge playing some jazz.  Great to be alive!
Update 3/15/2012  Played an accompanied solo in 3 Church services.  Big stretch but turned out well.  Beginning a Music certificate program at a local Junior College this fall. Going to be fun, challenging and exciting.
