The Play Special window is opened from the workspace with the following command:
| Button | Key | Menu |
| Ctrl+L | Song-Transport- Play Special |
It allows you to select a range of the song for playback with special options, including looping and transposing.
Looped playback continues indefinitely. When it reaches the end of the range, it immediately returns to the start and continues.
If there are pickup bars in the song, these are not included in the repeat loops, unless the playback range is entirely within the pickup section.
