The Tools Menu provides access to several popup harmony tools, which allow you to explore the elements of music and the relationships between them.
The Tools menu is available in all views.
Some of the commands are also available as buttons on the tool bar.
Commands
Tuner
Opens the Tuner tool, which you can use to tune your actual instrument and make sure the sounds you play are the same as those that ChordWizard plays.
Key: Ctrl+T
Metronome
Opens the standalone Metronome tool, where you can play a wide range of time signatures with pattern options for practise.
Key: Ctrl+M
Notes To Chords
Opens the Notes To Chords window, where you can identify the chord made by a set of notes, for optional input into the song.
Notes To Scales
Opens the Notes To Scales window, where you can identify the scale made by a set of notes, for optional input into the song.
Chords To Scales
Opens the Chords To Scales window, where you can identify the scale most compatible with a set of chords, for optional input into the song.
Chord Synonyms
Opens the Chord Synonyms window, where you can explore the active chords which are synonyms of each other.
Scale Synonyms
Opens the Scale Synonyms window, where you can explore the active scales which are modes of each other.
Transpose Chords
Opens the Transpose Chords window, which lets you enter a series of chords (such as from a chord sequence in a song), and explore which chords they will become when transposed to a different key.
Relations
Opens the Relations window, where you can explore the relationships between chords and scales.
