The Tuner window can be opened from the workspace with the following command:

It helps you to tune your instrument, and make sure that the sounds you play properly match the sounds that ChordWizard plays.
The tuner acts in the same way as if were a fellow musician, playing one string at a time, so that you can make sure your strings are tuned to the same pitch.
The tuner can operate in one of three modes:
All Strings - Each string is automatically played in turn, so that you have both hands free to attend to your own instrument.
Single String - One selected string only is played repeatedly so that you can get it right before moving on the next one.
Manual - Each string is played manually with the mouse. This is useful to quickly check an instrument that you believe is already in tune.
The tuner automatically starts in All Strings mode when you first open it.
Controls
Tuner Fretboard
This is the main area of the tuner tool. It shows the first few frets of your instrument in the same orientation as the workspace fretboard.
It contains a series of small buttons, each marked with an arrow and pointing along a string, and a larger button (also marked with an arrow) pointing across all the strings.
Pressing the large button starts the tuner operating in All Strings mode. Pressing one of small buttons starts the tuner operating in Single String mode for the indicated string.
Play
This dropdown list provides an alternative way to select the tuner mode. It contains an item for (manual), an item for All Strings, and a Single String item for each string.
You can use either the Tuner Fretboard or the Play control to select the tuner mode, they will each update the other to indicate what the current mode of the tuner is.
Stop
Stops the tuner from playing any strings, and returns it to Manual mode.
Speed
Specifies how fast you want the strings to be played in All Strings or Single String mode.
This can be Slow (approx 30 bpm), Medium (approx 45 bpm) or Fast (approx 60 bpm).
Each String
Specifies how many times you want each string to be played in All Strings mode before it automatically moves on to the next string.
This can be Once, Twice or Three Times.
Close
Closes the tuner and returns to the workspace.
