I've not heard or read much about using ChordWizard in a recording studio/DAW setup. Such a shame. I asked support (yes, they do answer!) about the midi stream and it uses an older system (tried and true) of MMsystem. Googling it brought much despair but I kept trying. It seems that what you need is called LoopBe1. What this does is you target ChordWizard with a kind of midi thru port so that in ChordWizard it shows up as a midi out.(with MS synth, GS synth, ect.) In you daw (FL studio, Abelton, ect) it shows up as a midi controller. All the sound you hear shows up in your studio as note data to be recorded, edited and played using one of your favorite synth guitars. The best part is that LoopBe1 is free. And it all works in Win 11. So what you have is basically a Scaler chord system(built for piano mostly) for guitars. Absolutely amazing. No, it isn't a VST but re-size your DAW in it's screen and run ChordWizard next to it and it works. Perfectly. An older program beating the living daylights out of the new kids on the block. Thanks to support for getting me started. And thanks to the company for all the hard work that's already paying off in hours of enjoyment and much more creative music. Thank you.
