32nd and 64th notes/rest in staff view

Can I get the staff view to show 32dn and 64th notes ?

Yes. Perhaps you are being misled by the labelling in the Resolution control.
The values in this control are (currently) expressed as fractions of a quarter note (eg. Qtn/2, Qtn/4, Qtn/8). So:
32nd note (three flags on the stem) = Qtn/8
64th note (four flags on the stem) = Qtn/16
The finest resolution (Qtn/24) is for triplet 64ths.
