New Beta

Can I get the beta of the version to be released in early 2014 which contains user soundcard and vst support if I purchase Gold now?
Oops, sorry for the late reply.
Yes, please feel free to purchase, but the beta program will be open to all ChordWizard Network members, whether or not they are also customers.
We will send out an announcement when the development is approaching readiness for beta testing.
At this stage, looking like April/May.
Thanks for reply.
I'll need to continue to try to get it working satisfactorily before I purchase.
Was hoping to try beta or even alpha to see if I could get better results than what I reported in my support ticket(s).
I got Gold demo to work using Midi Matrix routing Songtrix to Addictive Keys Stand-alone.
No matter what I tried, I couldn't get the metronome to not play.
I was able to record a bass "line" but did not get the notes to sound either on record or playback.
I'll keep playing around with it and may purchase before beta release if I continue to achieve better results.
Will it be possible to get an extension on the demo period if I need it?

Hi. Is there a beta to try yet? I've been interested in Songtrix but wanted to try new beta first.
thanks
Hi, it's still some time away I'm afraid, but we are still making progress with it. Now expecting beta release date to be around Oct 2014.
Still under development, it's a big upgrade.
Hoping to have a timetable to announce in the coming weeks.
Just had a look at this thread: http://www.chordwizard.net/Forum/Songtrix/204
The guy asked you in 2012 for a Mac version (which you said would be under way in in the same year) and is he's probably still waiting...
This thread seems to be very alike...
People waiting for "a beta version" since 2013, but all they're getting is promises....
Come on, man...
This is no way to treat your customers.
Either just say there's gonna be nothing or come up with a real timetable....
By the way, I am a software engineer myself, working for a big company.
These days you don't get away anymore with saying it'll be finished "at some time" and then come up with nothing.
I, too, am a software engineer. It must be nice to have the luxury of not having to meet definite target milestones; it is a luxury I'll never know.
Not only has there not been a public pre-release of Songtrix 4 for testing, there has not been another maintenance release of Songtrix 3 (to address lingering bugs) since 3.0.1f. The copyright holder of ChordWizard Software knows the reasons for the indefinite delay, but it is unlikely that those circumstances will ever be shared with us. The last status update was over a year ago.
