when does new version of songtrix come out?

I think it's the best soft in the market for musicians. I admit the last version is so complete but new version is expected.

From what I can see, the Songtrix developers still have not begun the programming of a new version. Maintenance releases with bugfixes will not be forthcoming, either. I guess we just have to be satisfied with the last release of Songtrix, or otherwise move on to another music software product.
"Pizzicato" from Arpege Software is a music software package with lots of impressive features and extensive documentation; depending on the features you are interested in and how tight your budget is, there are different versions of the product available. Residents of the USA can order it from writing-music.com. However, like Songtrix, Pizzicato has not been updated in several years (the latest Pizzicato v3.6.2 was released May 31, 2012).

Songtrix is the best soft for songwriting. I have not seen tools like it playing with chords and rhythm and also other facilities.

BIAB (Band-in-a-Box) is so similar to Songtrix but with more features and styles, periodic updates ... .
It also allows more control on everything. I am being tickled to switch to that.

I just do apologize. I want to take back what I said about BIAB. It does not help well in composing. It's just a style arranger.

I have been working with BIAB, but it doesn't bode well as a composing software. The learning curve on Songtrix is such that it doesn't discourage the beginner and they are less apt to look around for other great programs like this one.
