Songtrix

Songtrix notates automatically based on the events that you create in Mixer and Track view.

If you want it to use triple notes, then switch to Staff View, and adjust the View-Resolution control (this also appears on the Staff Bar where it is easier to get at).

It is probably set Qtn/4 to begin with, where it approximates everything into sixteenth notes (ie. 1/4 of a quarter note) otherwise known as semiquavers.

If you change this setting to Qtn/6, it will be able to display triple notes as well as half notes.

There is a similar option in Staff Sheet reports when printing.

You can keep increasing the resolution to get greater accuracy, but the score becomes untidy as minor variations in timing will start to get explicitly notated.
