midi import

Hi there!
I've got a question about midi import.
I want to make use of some of the midi drumloop libraries that are sold by Groove Monkey.
I've downloaded their example pack to see if I can import them into Songtrix.
A midifile from that library can be imported, but I can't get it assigned to the Drums track in Songtrix.
I can assign it to the Bass track (plays just fine) or any other track, but not the Drums track.
I've noticed that the channel assignment in the midifile is 00 (zero), which is not the usual percussion channel.
Could this be a problem?
Or is it just me doing something wrong?

Just want to add that Songtrix is really a great product.
I bought it a month ago and it's one on the best buys in terms of music software I've done so far.

yep, definitely did something wrong myself....
The library comes in 3 general midi formats: Type 0, Single Track, and MultiTrack.
I used Type 0.
However, you have use Single Track (or even MultiTrack).
Those have the correct channel assignments.
And then Songtrix directs the midi straight towards the Drums track.
Told you it was a great product... ;-))
