Would be handy if you added a key field to the tool bar that would display the key of the song and allow you to change it and all the parts would be transposed into the new key.

Transpose will definitely be in there by the time of final release. It's one of the more contained functions that we're leaving until we have the main framework ironed out.

Ditto, I downloaded a midi and tab (same song) but the tab was off 1/2 step. Would be nice to be able to change entire file key in 1/2 step increments.

Yes, I support that. Most transposing instrument players, eg alto saxophone, (Eb), expecially learners, would sometimes want to see the chords laid out on screen in concert key, but actually hear them playing in the transposing instrument's key, so they can easily accompany. So I would like two independent controls, one for simultaneously transposing both the chords on screen and the audio output, and one for transposing the output only, that is changing the heard pitch only, while the chords stay the same on screen.

Standard tranpose is now fully implemented. (Track-Transpose).
It's an interesting idea though, playing in a different key to what is displayed. We'll mark this down for consideration. Thanks.
