I am an 80 year old male looking at music as a possible new hobby with much learning to do. I earlier played a guitar poorly and tried a banjo for awhile. I have Parkinsons and fingers are not well controlled, so I thought a keyboard might work. I have a college grandson who just got a guitar for Christmas ad I will tell him about your organization. I have a superficial knowledge of music and practically no skill, I enjoy singing and have volunteered to participate in a entertainment show held monthly
at my UU church. I am a retired mechanical engineeer and am excited about the creative challenge of writing a song.
welcome to SongTrix Tim, you'll find it so interesting
You can make music on SongTrix without a keyboard, even if you are a little shaky at times.
I pray that your music making will be for God and that you will overcome, even at a such a young age.
every blessing

I would suggest working on vocal music and just strum a few basic guitar chords .. my uncle has parkisons all his kids are master musicians but I cant imagine him playing guitar at 84 years old like he did in his youth its just my take on it you may want to use a instructor
