The Reset Scale Types window opens when you press the Reset button in the Scale Types page.

It allows you to reset aspects of the Scale Types list back to the default properties defined by the list of standard scale types.

Controls

Apply Standard Activations

Activates or deactivates the scale types according to the Playing Level you select.

For Advanced level, all scale types are activated.  For Beginner or Intermediate level, some scale types are deactivated as defined by the standard scale types.

Apply Standard Order

Sorts the scale types in order as defined for the standard scale types.

Any custom scale types are moved to the end of the list.

Apply Standard Names

Returns the names of any standard scale types to their default names.

Apply Standard Degree Names

Resets the degree names of the scale types to their default names, as defined in the standard scale types.

Remove Custom Types

Removes any custom scale types from the list.

OK

Resets the aspects of the scale types as specified, and returns the Scale Types page.

Cancel

Closes the window without making any change to the scale types.
