Vertical Piano Roll note editing

Just wishing and a hoping the piano roll could run vertically with the keyboard at the top (the way we look at a keyboard) instead of horizontally with the keyboard at the side of the page.  I get round this by changing the screen aspect from horizontal to vertical and use a program called Sakasa to change the mouse operation.

If anyone can find a midi editor piano roll that runs vertically there's a big beer reward in it.  Thanks for Songtrix btw.

Hi Phillip, it's an interesting concept, and I understand the desire for a horizontal keyboard.

Trouble is, the other dimension is time, and we are so strongly accustomed to having it run left-to-right (with regular writing, staff notation, charts) that it would probably feel quite strange running in any other direction.

Because of that the keyboard itself usually ends up in most software (as in Songtrix) being subordinate to the "time axis".

Sounds like you have an novel workaround for it though.  I would like to see how that works in action.
