Thank you.  Yes, this is on the list to do.

For the dropdown chord matrix in Song View, the right click will work.

For Segment View, we're still not quite sure yet if right-click will be needed for  a popup menu.  If it is, we might have to use middle-click for sampling instead.

Does everyone have a middle button on their mouse?

Oh.  I hadnt even realized there was the segment view.   Even tho there is only left click it does solve the proble -- to be able to sample multiple chords easily before moving on to the next measure.

But the drop down in Song view is what I have been speaking of, ( I think.  ANd right clicking does not let me sample.  Are we talking about the same thing?  I click in the CH row on a measure, there is a down arrow that shows chords.  I click a cord, the drop down closes.  If I dont like the chord, I have to open the drop down menu again.

No, you're quite right, the sample feature is not there yet in either Song or Segment view.

Forgive my confusing expression.  When I say "the right click will work" I meant that it is possible in a design sense.

This is a good suggestion.  I'll make a post when it's implemented.

This feature has arrived!  Starting with Songtrix 3.0-beta-2, you can get a sample sound of any chord or scale cell in a matrix by moving the mouse with the middle button down.

We're saving the right mouse button for popup menu commands (to be implemented).
