Master Volume Sysex

I have noticed that when auditioning sounds in segments of songtrix (with the left mouse button) with instruments which have a very long sustain and short drop off in their sound envelopes there is sudden rise in volume after the note off messages are sent. Try using STRING ENSEMBLE 1 or 2 from the GM bank and turn the volume down in the mixer . This is particularly noticable if the volume is turned down in the mixer panel first and especially with an instrument which has a number of voices sounding at once (is it called polyphony??) like a choir or ensemble on one channel. It is not evident in instruments like piano or guitar which have very quick drop off envelopes. This led me to monitor the midi messages being sent. I downloaded MidiOx and MidiYoke and output a song from Songtrix through them. I noticed that at the end of any audition , a master volume sysex is being sent 7F 7F 04 01 vol . I think that what may be happening is that the volume is being reset before the instrument sound has fully decayed and the last fragment of time is then being output at the new reset volume. I suspect a lot of folk who have been using drums and guitars may never have noticed this effect. I would be interested to hear if anyone else can reproduce this problem.
