Need help with exporting songs

Hi everyone who happens to open this page. May use your experience. I can't export my finished songs into MP3 or wave format. With MP3 I get a msg that there are no codecs installed in the system (is it chordwizard's or my PC) but I do play MP3s OK. With wave export the msg is the file is too big. What is your experience and how did you resolve this conflict?
I can't say about chordwizard because I haven't completed my Songtrix download yet.
But, while using a different brand of software I had to "transport" the song file (save it) into a separate file inside "My Documents". I then converted the saved MIDI document to MP3 or to WAV using a third party conversion software from the "Switch" company. Google for Switch,,,,,
Then, I had to go to My Documents, where the saved MIDI file was located, and then right click on that file (rather than opening the file) and pick the drop down option to convert the saved MIDI file to the desired type.
Switch was a free download, but it was a trial version, which has expired, and now I'll have to purchase the conversion software before using it again.
Sorry I can't be more help at this time. I'm hoping Songtrix will do the conversion without needing to use "Switch."
To use the MP3 export, you do need to have an MP3 codec installed. A good one to use is generally LAME which is free at:
http://lame.sourceforge.net/links.php#Binaries
But first you should check if it works for export to WAV, since this is the recording step, and conversion to MP3 is only an addition to this.
If you are having problems with Export to WAV, write again with more details.
