Introductions

I'm a senior citizen who has played guitar most of my life --many gigs, some professionally and others just for fun. Of course, music was mainly a supplementary source of income. I've been a school teacher and R.E. Broker also. I still own several fine acoustic guitars and also played upright bass on many occasions. I have recently switched basses (for purposes of convenience) to the U-bass,  the sound of which replicates closely that of my upright. I mostly play "old standards, Country Western, and Continental music. I sing and have written some of my own music.  Although I'm a senior, I'm always willing to learn new things and hoping there will be new things learn by joining.
