hi there ! im rocky  and just started to learn the steel guitar. hoping to contact otherswho have the same interest.  one question anyone ever heard of the ceg ceg tuning? can t seem to find any information and would appreciate some information is possible- thanks!

hi, rocky.
just started to learn myself,lap steel guitar. c6 tuning, is the most common tuning ,that is as follows,.
from treble to base,.  e,c,a,g,e,c, also if you go into lapsteel onyour web sites ,search.lap steel ,tabs tunings,and so forth, theres loads of info avaliable, i hope this might have been helpfull to you, as a passing note , back in the seventys i bought a 10 string pedal steel, it was a beast to master, after 7years playing i became a reasonable player. but due to work loads i had to give up, and know at 74 years old,i could not afford one,  but the 6 string lap steel is a beautiful instrument to play ,my love being country music,. hope i have been a bit helpfull, george.
