Introductions

I am from Panama, Central America. I am over 50 years and wish to understand how music works in order to understand the guitar. I have played guitar for almost 6 years now but still cannot understand how to play properly, how solos are built or how to enjoy the guitar playing melodies. Hope to make friends with whom I can exchange ideas and concepts about the guitar.
