The Scale page appears in the Set Filter property window. It allows you to make changes to the Scale criteria of the filter.
In addition to the controls shown below, there are extra buttons which are common to all property windows.
For a full discussion of filters, see Overview. The Filter Bar can also be used to make changes to any of the filter criteria.
Controls
Scale Matrix
Each cell in the matrix represents the scale made from the scale type in the row heading and the root note in the column heading.
For the example above, the row heading is Dorian and the column heading is D, making a D Dorian scale.
The Scale Matrix is colored red to indicate that it deals with scales.
Scales View and Relations View both contain a Scale Matrix within the workspace, which replicates the function of this one.
Filter
At bottom of the page is a description of the current filter setting, which is updated as you make changes to the filter criteria.
