As you know, windows MIDI Driver causes lots of latency while playing, so for getting rid of that try below utilities that both use the sound font files. Latency is about 0 ms.
https://kode54.net/bassmididrv/bassmididrv.exe is excellent. (import e.g. FluidR3 GM .sf2 to it) after installing and configuring bassmididrv, you can select it from Midi Output inside chordwizard products.
Original and standard Midi sounds are inside “gm.dls” file in system32 folder. Simply convert it to soundfont file and use it inside bassmidi tool.
If you use BassMidi you'll never uninstall it.
As you know, Asio4all is the best and fastest Asio driver in the net but unfortunately it does not allow in most PCs to share audio output among more audio applications including players, DAWs, etc. There are some kind of wrappers like "Asio Multi" or "Asio link" that allow more than one DAW to take control of system audio, but first one works only by ASIO compatible drivers and second one is not free and has lots of problem.
This is a unique audio interface soft for merging all the softs' audios together including ASIO, MME, KS, DirectX and WaveRT and it's also free and it's also better than Jack kit.
You can work simultaneously with all of your applications. It's like big mixer and you can select it in your DAW as output. After everything is ok, You can select ASIO4all as the final output inside Voicemeeter.
You should open its window during your play back and also you should set it as your default device inside system audio for hearing any audio so you can work with media player, and protools, etc. simultaneously.
