Introductions

Hello,
I have made one musical CD playing the guitar and Native American Flute.  Many had chord substitutions.  I wish to make another CD with the Native American Flute of all peaceful Hymns.  I'm hoping I can get some help and ideas from here for taking a nominal Hymn and spicing it up in a very pretty manner with chord subs.  I'd like to take a song like Amazing Grace and similar peaceful songs (not upbeat) and put chord subs to it.  I would also consider taking a Hymn which may normally be played faster and slowing it down to a more worshipful and peaceful song with chord subs, playing the Native American Flute as the melody and fills.
I mostly finger pick a guitar as accompaniment.
