Am a sound engineer and a bass and pianist. I wil love to learn more about chords and other things concerning music.

Welcome, blazer P! You have rather interesting musical activities, I think.
There is a tricky thing about chords, as one chord alone may have several inversions with different harmonical tensions. The bass line is the harmonic foundation and is most important for a good harmonical experience.
