Hello I am trumpet player in South African Police Band and in my church.I have national diploma in music, I am keen in songwriting,composing and arranging.everyday means learning music in my life.

I have been playing the Cornet / Trumpet for over 60 years. I also have played and still do at church from time to time. I have always found it difficult to improvise with my Trumpet since I was taught to read the music and did not learn very much about chord structure. Recently I have found a web site that has been written by a very good trumpet player the site is www.improviseforreal.com and can also be seen on youtube
I wish I had had access to this 40 years ago Have a look and you may be able to make your church music come alive...
