The Verify Style window appears each time you save a style you are working on, if you have activated this as your preference.
It gives you a summary of the sections present in your style, indicating the current size and completion of each.
There are typically many sections in a style, and it can be easy to overlook simple omissions that prevent the style from working properly when used.
The Verify Style window is highly recommended to help you monitor and troubleshoot the styles that you create, as you are working on them.
Controls
File
Displays the current filename of the style you are working on, or (not saved yet) if this is the first time you have saved the style.
Bars
A summary of the sections in the style and their bar sizes are shown in table format. Each column represents a time signature (you may have only one) and each row represents a style section type.
The cells in the table show the size of each section, or display a hyphen for sections that do not exist within the style.
Status
Each section is automatically examined and classified with a status. This can be one of the following:
Complete - sections are complete (and colored green) when they have a chord or scale defined for their entire length and contain events in at least one track.
Empty - sections are empty (and colored gray) when they have a chord or scale defined for their entire length but contain no events.
No Chord - sections which do not have a chord or scale defined for their entire length are colored red.
OK
Closes the window and saves the style file.
Cancel
Returns to the workspace without saving the style file.
