Several menu commands have a keystroke that acts as a shortcut for the same operation.  The keystrokes are indicated next to the menu commands, as shown.

You cannot use these keystrokes in Print Preview, or when a popup window is open, but there are specific keyboard commands you can use in these situations.

The most important keystroke to remember is F1.  This will open Music Theory Help at the most relevant topic to the current situation.
