I'am 59 I've been playing Music for over 40 years, I am a self taught Musician, I started playing the guitar left handed, then I found there wasn't to many left handed guitars back then so I taught my self over again to play right handed.at 16 the band I was in was doing pretty well, I wrote a few songs, we were on a TV show, had write ups in the local news paper, I was the lead singer/ rhythm guitar player. We were doing pretty well, Till I had an affair with a Bottle , sad thing is, I formed the Group, and after 7 or 8 yrs the Band I formed gave me the boot, and asked me to leave, couldn't say I blamed them. So I went my way, Still playing in and out of Bands, I've done some teaching Guitar and a little singing, Needless to say, I don't Drink anymore, ( Hard Lesson Learned ) Music has always been and will always be my passion. In 1982 I had an accedent and severed nerves in my left wrist, No it wasn't what ya'll think, it happen at work. lol but it put a damper on my guitar playing, I lost all the mussel in my hand. I had a Hard time playing, so I gave up, every now and then, I'd pull my old Ibanez out of the closset and try to play, only to get frustrated and toss it back in the case. I did this every other year for about 10 years, till one day I didn't give up, I pushed myself, till I broke out in a sweat, only to keep pushing more, I now playing everyday, Still I can't play bar chords, I find a way to make Music. I taugh myself to play the piano, and today I own a small recording studio, I'am a self taught Mixing and Recording Engineer, well, I shouldn't say self taught, I have to this day a great Mentor ( Kevin Ward ) from Nashville . a wonderful Engineer, he has a Group he teaches called MixCoach to which I belong. I still play everyday, but today My passion is Creating and Mixing Music in my Studio. Music is the passion to my Soul.
