Once you have downloaded and played a publication, it is strongly recommended that you rate it.  Rating publications has several benefits, both to you as the consumer, and to the publisher.

Mark Your Trail

When you have rated a publication, it appears in lists with a checkmark icon, to remind you that you have already downloaded and played it.

Define Your Tastes

As you rate more and more publications, you establish a profile of what you like and don't like.

Future ChordWizard Network features will allow you to use this to find other members with similar tastes and also highlight other publications that they rated highly.

Give Feedback

Ratings give valuable feedback to, and raise the profile of the publisher, who is another ChordWizard Network member like yourself.

It also helps to establish the overall popularity and ratings of publications, which benefits the whole community.

If you find that a publication is memorable, please also consider leaving a comment.

This makes the feedback to the publisher much more useful, and also acts as a dated witnessing of the publication, which helps to support publisher's claim of authorship over the work.
