The Other Criteria page appears in the Set Filter property window. It allows you to make changes to the Chordshape, Notes and Chord Bass Note criteria of the filter.
In addition to the controls shown below, there are extra buttons which are common to all property windows.
For a full discussion of filters, see Overview. The Filter Bar can also be used to make changes to any of the filter criteria.
Controls
Chordshape
This control specifies the Chordshape filter criteria in tablature notation. Question mark digits indicate wildcards, so this example above will be satisfied by chordshapes 555555, 055000 and 355363, etc.
If all digits are question marks, this filter criteria is empty, and the edit control will be blank unless it has the cursor in it. The background is colored green to indicate that it deals with chordshapes.
Notes
This control specifies the Notes filter criteria, indicating which notes must be present in chordshapes. More than one note may be selected, as shown above.
The background is colored yellow to indicate that it deals with notes.
Chord Bass Note
This control specifies the Chord Bass Note filter criteria, indicating which note must be the bass (lowest pitched) note of a matching chord for chordshapes. Only one note may be selected.
This filter criteria can be used on its own, or in conjunction with the Chord filter criteria. The background is colored blue to indicate that it deals with chords.
Join Criteria
If more than one filter criteria is specified at once, you can decide whether to treat the combination as an And operation (where all criteria need to be satisfied) or an Or operation (where any criteria may be satisfied).
This control group is disabled if less than two independent filter criteria are specified.
Filter
At bottom of the page is a description of the current filter setting, which is updated as you make changes to the filter criteria.
