In Design View, the Status Bar contains a status pane on the left and two indicator panes on the right.

Status Pane

The status pane shows whether current chordshape design is blank, new or already exists in the current library.

Indicator Panes

The first indicator pane shows the current filter setting.

The second indicator pane shows the instrument of the current library that you are working with.
