Musical Bio
Taught part time since 1970, full time since 2002.
Have played with many small combos; ran my own 7-piece jazz band and played 1st/2nd chair in an 18-piece stage band.
Played lead roles in many stage musicals.
Have played with many top-flight musicians in Australia.
Currently retired, but still doing some private tuition.
Love to play mainstream jazz and also dixieland/trad and QUIET dinner music when possible.
I have Level 8 as a multi-instrumentalist and level 9 in modern piano (Professional Diploma) with the Australian Guild of Music, with whom I am also a registered teacher.
