Hi and greetings from New Zealand.

I am keen to learn bass guitar.

I bought an acoustic bass but will be returning it.
Fretting the tense strings is too much work.
Looking for a 2nd hand electric bass on trade me now.

So much free content on Youtube that I am so grateful for.
Wish I had access to that kind of material when I was younger.

I've played acoustic guitar for around 30 years, on and off.

I don't have an ear for music which I am attempting to change, using The Complete Ear Trainer android app.

Just recently discovered this Songtrix Software.
Jammed along to some drum beats for about 5 hours last night.

Also use ChordPulse lite (freeware) for the same purpose.
